Sandra

I am Sandra and my motto is

( F OOD & FRIENDSHIP Hand in Hand!)

My passion for cooking began when I was a child, inspired by my parents, both excellent chefs. I grew up in beautiful Tuscany and today I live in the vibrant heart of Rome — with the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica literally just around the corner.

I love sharing my table and creating meaningful moments around food. This is how Sandra’s Secret Home Restaurant was born: a warm, intimate space where I share my stories and listen with curiosity to the stories of others.

I am a certified chef and collaborate with several universities for culinary events and food-related activities. Fifteen years ago, I started teaching my first Italian cooking classes, and since then, wonderful and lasting friendships have grown — because cooking together creates real connections.

I also had the pleasure of taking part in the TV show “4 Ristoranti” by Alessandro Borghese on Sky. Competition is not truly my world, but I embraced the moment — Carpe Diem — and played the game gracefully, without losing my spirit.
